In addition to working with customers and sourcing partners, BMI plays an important role in supporting the industry in other ways. We serve on many industry committees and bodies, such as the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), the Cement Chemists Society and the IEEE, among others, where we have contributed to the establishment of standards and best practices.
We are continually involved in special industry initiatives and often work with federal, state and local regulatory agencies on product introductions and approvals. We conduct seminars, in addition to marketing and technical studies, to further greater understanding and knowledge of the cement industry.
We regularly attend industry gatherings around the world and frequently present papers on these occasions.
