FRANCESCO PEZZOTTI APPOINTED GENERAL MANAGER
PISA, Italy – January 1,2007
Bulk Materials International (BMI) today announced the promotion of Francesco Pezzotti to General Manager of BMI Europe operations.
Francesco joined Bulk Materials as Technical Sales Manager in February 2005. In this capacity, he had sales responsibility within Europe and also provided technical support to BMI’s customers and raw materials sources. “Francesco is a bright young professional and I think he will do a great job for us. He has a wealth of knowledge of our customers, their operations and the process enhancements” said Gregory Carrigan, Vice President, BMI International Business.
Mr. Pezzotti will continue to work out of the BMI Europe Headquarters in Pisa, Italy and will report to Mr. Carrigan, Vice President International Businesses.
Before joining BMI, Mr. Pezzotti worked in quality and development at Comital. Previously, he was with Italcementi, where he held various technical positions, ranging from Production Manager to Product and Process Engineer.
Mr. Pezzotti holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Chemistry from La Sapienza University of Rome and an Executive Master of Business Administration from the MIP School of Management in Milan. He resides in Bergamo, Italy.
