NARAYANASAMY VIJAYARETHINAM NAMED
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
NEWTOWN, Conn. – August 5, 2008
Bulk Materials International Co. (BMI) announced Mr. Narayanasamy Vijayarethinam “Vijay” has joined BMI Asia and will assume the responsibilities of Business Development Manager. He will report to Dr. Vassiem Sheikh, Director BMI Asia. “While Vijay will be developing new business opportunities in Asia, he will focus on fostering our existing business initiatives in India and Pakistan. I am very confident Vijay will play a key role in growing BMI's business in Asia.” said Mr. Greg Carrigan, VP International Business.
Vijay comes to BMI Asia with a Masters in Business Administration and over 20 years of work experience in the construction related chemical industries. He has managed clients in S.E. Asia, including Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, India, Pakistan and Bangladesh, as well as in the Middle East.
Vijay has been actively involved in sales development, analyzing market situations, negotiations with suppliers, as well as managing supply chain issues. Most recently Vijay has been with Scancem Materials Pte Ltd, a Singapore based trading company, involved in the import and export of construction materials in S.E. Asia and the Middle East.
Vijay resides in Singapore with his wife and two sons. On behalf of the entire BMI Team we welcome Vijay and look forward to his positive contribution.
